Duplicate RC Assam : Vehicle Registration certificate(RC) very importance document for vehicle owner in Assam. When a registration certificate(RC) of a vehicle is reported to be lost, mutilated, torn or used-up, duplicate registration certificate is issued to the registered owner. If at any time, the certificate of registration is lost or destroyed, report to the police station in the jurisdiction of which the loss or destruction has occurred and intimate that fact in writing to the registering authority by whom the certificate of registration was issued.

Procedure for Apply Duplicate RC in Assam

If at any time, the certificate of registration is lost or destroyed, need to apply duplicate registration certificate(RC) in Assam, follow below step :

First, have to visit parivahan official website https://parivahan.gov.in/. open this website and select menu to online service, open drop down menu and select vehicle related services option show in below image.

Now select state from drop down menu. after select state redirect vahan parivahan website.

Open new page and left side have box to select state and RTO, click on proceed.

Select online services to Apply for Transfer of Ownership, Change of Address, Hypothecation [Addition/Continuation/Termination], Duplicate RC)

Enter your vehicle details as a Vehicle Registration No. and Chassis Number(Last 5 characters) and click on VERIFY DETAILS button.

Now you will get the complete details of your vehicle. Here you can see the complete information of your vehicle. Whose name is your vehicle, when was the vehicle registered and when is the insurance for your vehicle going to end? You can see all such information here.

Now select Duplicate RC option.

Procedure of Check Pending e-challan of vehicle in Assam

If you want to check your duplicate rc application status, please follow below step :

First go to official website of parivahan : https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/ and select menu from Online Services >> Vehicle related Services.

Now select your state

Now select your RTO of vehicle registration and click on Proceed.

• On this page, you have click on the Status tab. This provides different options from which you need to select Know your Pending eChallan / Blacklist Details option.

Now enter your vehicle registration number and click on show details button.

Need to visit vahan parivahan website https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/, open official website then select state, RTO and click on proceed button.

Main menu to select RC related service to pay your tax.

Now enter your register number of vehicle and check how much pending your vehicle tax show.

Check Duplicate RC application Status in Assam

Now select your state

Now select your RTO of vehicle registration and click on Proceed.

• On this page, you have click on the Status tab. This provides different options from which you need to select Know your application status option.

Now select registration option and enter your vehicle registration number and submit button click.

Display your application status and vehicle details such as vehicle owner name, vehicle types, model and more on your screen.
